My mom has to be the strongest & bravest person out there. She’s been going through alot the past few years & recently it’s gotten a ton worse. Her significant other of many years has come down with a fatal illness. Despite all the tears I know she must cry day after day she still always tries to hide the pain & have a cheery voice when she talks to my 3 year old each night. We are a great distance apart, her being in Wichita and we are in Calgary, Canada! Even with everything that she has on her plate she still does anything she can to “take care” of us. I asked for a few candy bars for my 30th this year & she shipped me an entire box full of one years worth of candy. She doesn’t stop long enough to really take care of herself but instead is constantly concentrating on her ‘beau’, me & my little girl! She hasn’t been selfish when she should be & no one would blame her if she was so this is one way that I could try & say “thank you” and have someone “take care” of her in some small way when I can’t be there to help as much as I would like! I know that no matter what will happen my mom will always be but most importantly I know that she loves all of us!
