I am 18 years old and I have Wichita’s Best mom. My parents were married in ‘83 and they had trouble getting pregnant, so they started fertility treatments. They struggled for six years, and finally they adopted me! My mom has been the most amazing mom ever. She has cared for me like I was her own and I’ve never questioned whether or not I am. She has handed me the world and never looked back. She and I have taken tap classes together, worked out at the YMCA together, and have that ever so often mom and daughter day. My mom has a strong faith in the Lord and has taught me tons about Him and has showed me how to live my life. She helps me understand my problems and get through them, and she lets me learn from her mistakes as well. She has loved me like no one else could and she means the world to me. She has lived though the troubles of life yet kept that smile on her face and boosted me up even when she felt down on herself. I have never met a more amazing woman on this earth and I thank God everyday for sending me to her.
